The teams have been determined, but have you decided on what you are serving up for the big Superbowl? If you are like me, the food is way more important than the game, so I always start thinking up great appetizers weeks before the actual Superbowl.
Now, I’m not a super experienced party planner, but here are a few tips I’ve come up with to have a successful get-together!
Keep it bite-sized and easy to eat: if you don’t have to use a plate, it’s an even bigger bonus. That way, your guests can grab a bite every time they walk past the table.
Keep it low-maintenance: chances are that all the guys are really there just for the game. Of course, they want the food, but they aren’t going to notice any fancy decorations or gourmet ingredients.
Keep it interesting: have a wide variety of foods on the table – anything from super easy appetizers to chili to delicious desserts.
Need some ideas of what to make for the big game? I’ve included a few of my favorite appetizers above, but here are some other game-worthy recipes!
Loaded Baked Potato Dip from Baked Bree
Football Bites (with summer sausage, cheddar and ranch) from Gimme Some Oven
Salted Pretzel Bites from Pennies on a Platter
Mini Football Cakes from She Runs, She Eats

Those cresents are calling my name.
Thanks for the link!
Your cafe sounds great. I like the concept of the soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. Wish there was a place like that around here!
