A few weeks ago on my Facebook page, I asked “apple or pumpkin”? I have to admit that I was surprised by the winner – pumpkin. I really thought apple would win it!! But when it comes to my decision – I have to say I’m split right down the middle. I love them both!
In preparation for the upcoming holidays, I thought I’d check out some of the apple and pumpkin pie recipes out there. Now I’m hungry for pie!

I love both as well! But I like apple things Sept-mid October, then pumpkin the rest of October-November! That way they get equal playing time!
